Recnote(이하 "앱")는 강의 녹음, 전사, 시간표 및 학습 자료를 사용자가 관리할 수 있도록 돕는 앱입니다. 이 개인정보 처리방침은 앱이 어떤 정보를 처리하고, 사용자가 이를 어떻게 관리할 수 있는지 설명합니다.
앱은 사용자가 직접 입력하거나 앱에 추가한 다음 정보를 기기에서 처리합니다.
앱은 별도의 Recnote 계정을 만들지 않으며, 사용자의 Apple 계정 비밀번호나 인증 정보에 접근하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
녹음 파일, 가져온 미디어 파일, 전사문 및 재생 메모는 기본적으로 사용자의 기기에 저장됩니다. 전사는 기기 내 처리 기능을 사용하며, 음성 내용을 Recnote의 별도 서버로 전송하지 않습니다.
시간표 입력을 위해 선택한 시간표·수강신청 내역 이미지는 Apple의 기기 내 문자 인식 기능으로 일시적으로 처리됩니다. Recnote는 선택한 원본 이미지를 앱 데이터로 저장하거나 별도 서버로 전송하지 않으며, 사용자가 확인하고 저장한 과목·수업 시간 정보만 앱에 보관합니다.
Recnote Premium 구독자가 앱 설정에서 녹음 파일 동기화를 직접 켠 경우에만 녹음 파일이 사용자의 개인 iCloud 저장 공간에 추가로 저장됩니다. 전사문, 번역문 및 재생 메모는 iCloud에 동기화되지 않고 각 기기에만 저장됩니다.
사용자가 iCloud 자동 연동을 직접 켠 경우, 학기·시간표·수업 정보·메모와 사용자가 선택한 강의계획서 파일이 Apple의 CloudKit/iCloud 서비스를 통해 사용자의 동일한 Apple 계정 기기 간에 동기화될 수 있습니다. Recnote Premium 구독자가 연동 항목에서 녹음 파일 동기화를 별도로 켜면 녹음 파일도 Apple iCloud Drive를 통해 동기화될 수 있습니다.
동기화는 사용자가 선택한 항목에 한해 이루어지며, 앱은 사용자의 iCloud 계정 비밀번호를 수집하거나 열람하지 않습니다. iCloud 데이터 처리에는 Apple의 개인정보 처리방침이 적용됩니다.
각 권한은 해당 기능을 실행할 때만 사용되며, 기기 설정에서 언제든 변경할 수 있습니다.
앱은 개인정보를 판매하거나 광고 목적으로 이용하지 않습니다. 별도의 광고 SDK나 이용행태 분석 SDK를 사용하지 않습니다. 사용자가 iCloud 동기화를 선택한 경우에만 위 3항의 데이터가 Apple CloudKit 서비스를 통해 처리됩니다.
사용자는 앱에서 녹음 파일, 전사문, 메모, 과목 및 첨부 파일을 관리할 수 있습니다. 과목을 삭제하는 것만으로 기존 녹음과 전사 자료를 삭제하지 않습니다.
녹음을 삭제하면 먼저 휴지통으로 이동하고 일반 목록과 검색에서 제외됩니다. 녹음과 관련 전사 자료는 휴지통에서 30일간 보관되며, 30일이 지나도 사용자 확인 없이 자동으로 영구 삭제되지 않습니다. 영구 삭제를 확인하기 전에는 휴지통에서 복원할 수 있습니다.
휴지통에 보관한 지 30일이 지난 녹음은 사용자가 대상을 선택하고 영구 삭제를 확인한 경우에만 삭제를 진행합니다. 확인을 취소하거나 보관 기간 안내를 닫는 것만으로는 삭제되지 않습니다. 영구 삭제를 확인한 녹음은 앱의 휴지통에서 복원할 수 없으며, 해당 녹음 파일과 관련 전사·번역·재생 메모 등 로컬 자료의 삭제를 처리합니다.
iCloud에 동기화한 녹음의 영구 삭제에는 클라우드 사본 삭제도 포함됩니다. 로컬 삭제와 클라우드 삭제는 동시에 완료되지 않을 수 있으며, 네트워크나 iCloud 서비스 상태에 따라 다음 실행 또는 동기화 때 재시도할 수 있습니다. 삭제한 녹음의 재업로드를 막고 기기 간 삭제 상태를 맞추기 위해 녹음 식별 정보와 삭제 상태 등 일부 메타데이터는 남을 수 있습니다.
기기에만 저장된 정보는 앱 삭제 또는 기기 초기화 시 iOS의 저장소 관리 방식에 따라 삭제됩니다. 앱 삭제만으로 iCloud에 저장된 사본이나 별도로 내보내거나 백업한 사본까지 모두 삭제되는 것은 아닙니다.
앱은 만 14세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
기능 또는 관련 법령의 변경이 있을 때 이 처리방침을 수정할 수 있습니다. 중요한 변경 사항은 앱 업데이트 정보 또는 이 페이지에 안내합니다.

Recnote (the “App”) helps people manage lecture recordings, transcriptions, timetables, and study materials. This policy explains what information the App processes and how people can manage it.
The App processes information that people enter or add on their device, including:
The App does not create a separate Recnote account and does not access or store Apple Account passwords or credentials.
Recordings, imported media, transcriptions, and playback notes are stored on the device by default. Transcription is performed on the device, and audio content is not sent to a separate Recnote server.
Timetable and course-registration images are processed temporarily using Apple’s on-device text-recognition technology. Recnote does not store the selected original images as App data or send them to a separate server. Only course and meeting information reviewed and saved by the user is retained.
Recording files are additionally stored in the user’s private iCloud storage only when a Recnote Premium subscriber explicitly enables recording sync. Transcriptions, translations, and playback notes remain on each device and are not synced through iCloud.
When the user enables automatic iCloud sync, semester, timetable, course, note, and selected syllabus information may sync between devices using the same Apple Account through Apple CloudKit and iCloud. Premium subscribers may separately enable recording sync through iCloud Drive.
Only items selected by the user are synced. The App does not collect or view Apple Account passwords. Apple’s privacy policy applies to information processed by iCloud.
Each permission is used only for its related feature and can be changed in device settings.
The App does not sell personal information or use it for advertising. It does not include third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. Data is processed by Apple CloudKit only when the user enables the optional iCloud features described above.
People can manage recordings, transcriptions, notes, courses, and attachments in the App. Deleting a course alone does not delete its existing recordings or transcripts.
Deleting a recording first moves it to Trash and removes it from normal lists and search results. Recordings and their associated transcripts are retained in Trash for 30 days and are not automatically permanently deleted after that period. They can be restored from Trash before permanent deletion is confirmed.
Once a recording has been in Trash for 30 days, permanent deletion proceeds only after the user selects it and confirms permanent deletion. Canceling the confirmation or dismissing a retention reminder does not delete it. A recording cannot be restored from the App's Trash after permanent deletion is confirmed. The App processes deletion of the recording file and associated local data, including transcripts, translations, and playback notes.
Permanent deletion of an iCloud-synced recording also includes deletion of its cloud copy. Local and cloud deletion may not complete at the same time. Depending on network or iCloud service availability, the App may retry during a later launch or sync. Some metadata, including recording identifiers and deletion status, may remain to prevent deleted recordings from being uploaded again and to synchronize deletion status between devices.
Information stored only on the device is removed according to iOS storage behavior when the App is deleted or the device is erased. Deleting the App alone does not necessarily delete copies in iCloud or copies that have been separately exported or backed up.
The App does not intentionally collect personal information from children under 14.
